You can jump-start your network marketing business in your very first week by following just four elementary steps.
(Here’s a quick, preliminary tip: Don’t skip any of these steps!)
Days 1 and 2 — Build a list of names.
If you’ve tried your hand at multi-level marketing before, you’ve probably heard this a thousand times. Trouble is, you likely ignored the advice. Well, stop doing that!
Sitting down with a pad and pencil and making a list of everyone you can think of — and I mean everyone — will get your entrepreneurial juices flowing. You may not approach half of these folks with your business opportunity, but the very act of writing down names as they occur to you will fill you with enthusiasm for how big the business can grow.
Day 3 — Set up a group meeting.
Schedule one in your own home or, better yet, in the home of a friend or family member. Don’t worry about how many people finally show up. That’s not as important as your having booked the meeting in the first place and getting a chance to practice the presentation of your marketing plan. You’ll feel like you’re really operating a business.
Days 4 and 5 — See people one-on-one.
Invite friends to lunch. Invite them out for coffee. Don’t smother them, but talk about your enthusiasm for your business. Then offer them the opportunity to be either one of your customers or an associate. At the very least, hand them a flyer, invite them to a group meeting, or send them to a website.
Remember: Stay light. Stay friendly. No pressure.
Days 6 and 7 — Pick up the telephone.
The phone is your best friend. Book group meetings with it. Book one-on-one appointments with it. Follow-up with Nprospects. You can cover a lot of ground by phone in an amazingly short amount of time.
