I’m talking about the classic 1962 movie, starring Frank Sinatra, Angela Lansbury, and Lawrence Harvey, NOT the forgettable 2004 remake with Denzel Washington.
It’s a Cold War thriller in which the unwitting Harvey is brainwashed by commies to be a perfect assassin. He’s triggered only when he sees a Queen of Diamonds playing card and is then instructed to kill.
Fantastic movie. If you haven’t seen it, get thee to Netflix and rent the darn thing for cryin’ out loud.
Anyway, having just watched it for the umpteenth time, it’s dawned on me that a lot of people are like Manchurian Candidates.
They’re just waiting for the right “trigger” to get them lurching forward.
They feel desperate to jump off the treadmill, maybe start their own internet business, and begin shifting their lives into high-gear.
But they’re too overwhelmed to get rolling.
They suffer from what’s called “paralysis by analysis.”
So even though they’re already weighed down by information overload, they pile on more books and videos and audios.
And become even more snowed under and immobile.
Can you relate?
What you need is the right trigger.
You need some easy methods that will serve you like a snowplow to dig you out, point you in the right direction, and give you a shove.
Let me suggest a great resource that unbelievably costs no more than a latte and scone at Starbucks — How to Stop Worrying and Start Your Internet Business by Tomorrow Morning.
Don’t wait around for some dame to show up wearing a Queen of Diamonds costume. (You’ll get what I mean when you see the movie.) Check this out…
It’ll only take a sec for you to look.
