Drinking the Guru Kool-Aid

I just got another one of those emails that promise sumptin’ fer nuttin’.

It said I can start an internet business with no list, no website, no products…

No effort.

If I climb on board this next-best-thing and drink the magic guru kool-aid, everything’ll be done for me lickety-split.

All I have to do is check my Paypal account once in awhile and count the money!

Yeah…riiiiiight.

Do you get as much of this email crap as I do?

Fact is, I can count on two hands the internet marketers I pay real attention to — folks like Chris Farrell, Ben Settle, Naomi Dunford, Johnny Truant, Jason Fladlien, Bob Bly, and Michael Senoff.

You don’t have to like their style. You don’t have to like what they say. You don’t have to like the stuff they sell.

But you never doubt their integrity.

They mean what they say and they say what they mean.

They’re no B.S.

Take Chris Farrell, for instance.

Chris started out in the internet marketing business by learning the ropes and then helping other newbies with their questions and problems.

He did this for free until he got so swamped he had to pile all the info onto a membership site, which  has been voted the #1 internet marketing service by IMReportCard.com.

Here’s the truth: after I procrastinated, fought the fear, and flubbed around for 18 months, it was Chris Farrell who finally got me started online.

If you’re interested, you can hear Chris and me talk about the whole story right here…

I’ll betcha learn something from my mistakes and Chris’s know-how.
